According to a release by MLB on April 8, fans can visit MLB.com/FranchiseFour to select the four most impactful players for each franchise who best represent the history of each franchise out of eight choices from its lineage. There is also a space for a write-in selection. Voting is live now until May 8.

Luis Castillo: The all-time leader in games played for the Marlins, Luis Castillo is at the top of the franchise lists in hits with 1,273 and stolen bases with 281. Castillo was a three-time all-star who also set a club mark with a 35-game hitting streak in 2002.
Jeff Conine: An original Marlin during the club’s first season, Jeff Conine was also a part of the team’s world championships in 1997 and 2003. Conine was a two-time all-star, who was the Most Valuable Player in the 1995 mid-summer classic. He holds the Marlins record for grand slams with six.
Livan Hernandez: With a record of 24-24 in his time with the Marlins, Livan Hernandez won the four most important games of his career in 1997. Hernandez won two games in the National League Championship Series and two more in the World Series to claim the MVP honors in both. He also won nine straight games in the regular season in 1997.
Giancarlo Stanton: The current face of the Marlins, Giancarlo Stanton began the 2015 season as the team’s all-time leader in home runs with 154. A two-time all-star and winner of a Silver Slugger, Stanton is at the top of the Miami list in multi-homer games with 13. He has had three walk-off homers with two of them being grand slams.
