The top performances in Major League Baseball this week were by Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels and Josh Collmenter of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Trout hit a pair of homers and had five RBI as the Angels won 6-3 over the Houston Astros on April 17.

With his long balls in Houston, Trout became the youngest person in major league history to reach 100 homers and 100 stolen bases in his career. Trout was 23 years and 253 days old as he passed Alex Rodriguez, who was 23 years and 309 days old back in
1999.

Collmenter pitched the first complete game of the 2015 season as the Diamondbacks won 9-0 in San Francisco.

The righthander gave up four hits to the Giants, while striking out two. At the plate, Collmenter had three hits and a RBI.
